Mission Activities

India is a conglomerate of variegated cultures, languages and religions. VBCV lives the true spirit of India by celebrating various festivals and distinctive days with fervor. Celebrations like Saraswati Puja, Guru Purnima , Ganesh Puja, Janmashtami, Gurudev's Birthday, Guruji's Birthday, Maha Samadhi Day serve a twofold purpose; first ‘Learning by doing’ and to instill values like integrity, faith and insistence.

Geeta Chanting

Bhagvad Geeta unfolds the quintessential elements for leading a successful life, with emphasis on the practical application of leading a life of Karma.Geeta Chanting Competition is an executor transpiring the vision of Pujya Gurudev.To propagate a consciousness about the importance of Bhagvad Geeta and its relevance in present day life,the Vidyalaya premise pulsates and resonates with the divine and melodious hymns chanted by the Chinmayans to enlist their engagement in the Geeta Chanting Competition.The students developes an inclination towards regular chanting of Bhagvad Geeta and imbibe teachings of Geeta as a way of leading a fruitful life.

Bal Vihar Camps

Bal Vihar camps are organized to impart ethical and cultural values to the children. These are weekly gatherings of children from UKG-VIII in a mirthful ambience to stimulate the Chinmayans to improve their lives through spiritual unfoldment. The classes begin by invoking Lord Ganesha and Goddess Saraswati and rendering Guru Stotram in unison. Shlokas from Bhagwad Geeta and Balvihar Guide II are chanted. A story telling session follows and the class is dismissed with Shanti Path.

Bhajan Sandhya

An initiative taken by our Principal to nourish the bond between parents and teachers, Bhajan Sandhya also offers an avenue to escape effortlessly to the realm of tranquility and stillness and, where we can feel our soul. It is organized on second Friday of each month between 4.00 pm to 5.00pm in the school. The premise reverberates with the divine and melodious bhajans rendered by enthusiastic parents, teachers and students.

Vishnu Sahastranamavali

A grand event is conducted to commemorate Gurudev’s birth star. The entire Vidyalaya fraternity participates in the rituals conducted. It included chanting of 1008 names of Lord Vishnu, puja, hawan and bhajans.The teachers and students pay humble offerings to Pujya Gurudev and received his blessings.

Saraswati Puja

Goddess Saraswati is propitiated as the Goddess of Knowledge in the Hindu Mythology. The Chinmayans offer their obeisance to Goddess Saraswati on the occasion of Saraswati Puja every year. The Vidyalaya precincts reverberates with prayers, bhajans and hawan which was followed by Aarti and Prasad Distribution.

Maha Shivaratri

On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri,to acquaint the learners with the glorious Indian Culture and to provide them an opportunity to experience the Shiva Tattva, 108 names of Lord Shiva are chanted. Hawan and bhajans are performed and the importance of the day is highlighted
